Smocked Waist Skirt - Barca Print

The Smocked Waist Skirt is made using approximately 5 metres of 100% cotton, hand-blocked in Jaipur one colour and one block at a time.

Printing takes an entire working day. The fabric is dried the following day, washed and dried again on day three, before making its way to our workshop to be cut and sewn.

The smocked waistband is carefully worked to create a comfortable high-waisted fit, while the ruffled hem gives the skirt its easy movement.

Slow-made and designed for repeat wear. Small variations in the print are a natural part of the hand-blocking process, making every skirt a little different from the next.
